Events
Drama Victoria is the peak body for implementing curriculum professional development for teachers. Our aim is to:
- To represent the voice of Victorian drama teachers on issues relating to legislation and policy change in education and provide relevant professionl learning opportunities to support these.
- To cater for and respond to the needs and concerns of drama teachers in the K-12 and tertiary sector in Victoria. And in doing so provide relevant, unique and high-quality professional development opportunities and resources.
- To support drama teachers that are beginning teachers, isolated teachers, rural teachers and returning teachers; with access to mentorship, networking opportunities and current resources.
- To provide up to date information on assessment, curriculum development and government and educational initiatives in the area of drama.
- To develop policy and guidelines for the advancement of teaching conditions for Victorian teachers.
- To encourage and foster best practice in the Drama classroom

This day will focus on the performance exams for both drama and theatre studies

1 Aug 2012: Drama Victoria and La Trobe City Unit 4- VCE Drama and Theatre Studies Student Exam Day
The day focuses on the drama and theatre studies exams and allows the teachers a chance to dicuss both the written and performance exam with a highly experienced drama and theatre studies practitioner. In the afternoon the students will practically explore the prescibed structures and work in groups to develop, possibilities for their performance.
