Musical Theatre Director
Parkdale Secondary College is seeking an experienced Musical Theatre Director who is passionate about working with teenagers. You would need to have a strong vision and leadership skills; whilst also being a team player working with our committed team of experienced staff. Our school has a reputation for our exceptional performing arts program. You must be flexible to work within our existing schedule and timeframe. Auditions commence Monday 27th Feb with a 17 week pre-production period.
Musical performance week is 31/7/17 – 4/8/17. Monday & Thursday afternoon rehearsals (3.20pm – 5.45pm). Leading up to the production week a number of Sunday rehearsals and 3 full day rehearsals during the school holidays would be required.

Arts & Education Coordinator (Full Time)
This position coordinates the marketing, relationships and delivery of the Arts & Education program including developing strong relationships with schools and communities, building awareness of the program, devising tour itineraries, booking logistics and assisting with creation of curriculum-aligned teacher resources. Brush up on your Shakespeare with Cantabile Acapella choir!
Cantabile, a long standing acapella group based in Melbourne, is preparing two Shakespeare/Elizabethan period concerts comprised of songs based on Shakespeare's text and music he may have listened to.
We would like to incorporate spoken word, sonnets, soliloquies, play excerpts etc. however our skills sit much more comfortably with singing. We are hoping that you may be, or know of an individual or group who might like to perform with us.
Our first concert will be at the Kew Courthouse Just Theatre, November 13th, and we are just starting the planning for a second which will have a slightly different feel. It will be free to the public, where we are looking for venue and performers from the city of Darebin.
